States-bound Maggie does business in Ireland first

She was bought by Janet Elliott for the owners to go jumping in America. Janet is a trainer in Pennsylvania. They said they'd leave her here to be schooled and to have a few runs. She jumped brilliantly there and that is totally down to Tommy Treacy. He's done all the schooling and he's done an unbelievable job. It's great to have a team where everyone does their bit.

He ran a couple of times on ground that was too bad for him. I'd suppose in hindsight we regret running him then.

Owennacurra on the way up

He seems to have improved a lot and Rob gave him a super ride . he timed it right. He's a horse that doesn't want to hit the front too early but he hadn't much choice there as he got there going well. We're delighted as we were a bit worried about running him back so quick (9 days after his Thurles win). He was telling me that he was in great from so we had to come here. It'll probably be a fortnight before he runs again. He won't go on better ground so we'll try to squeeze another one in before the summer comes.
