Unbeaten Lancaster House impresses O'Brien
That’s the best feel he’s given me so far. From (stall) 17, to have the pace to get up to a position like that early, he has done very well. He travelled around very easy. He impressed me today - I think he’s quite a decent horse. I thought a mile and a quarter was going to be his trip, but he travelled so easy and showed a lot of speed today so a mile or a mile and a quarter are his trips.
Pearl Warrior toughs it out and brings up hat-trick
The owner was pressing me to run him in this race and I said 'would we not keep him for the 0-80 handicap later in the week', but he goes 'Johnny, it's 50 grand!'. I entered in both and said we'd make a decision nearer the time and he had a low weight, claiming 5lbs off him and he is just on the improve and has really hit a rich vein of form. Andy said he travelling along in front and when a horse came to him he felt like he picked up himself, got a little idle in front but he is one of these horses who eats and sleeps at home. Paddy (Woods, owner) comes in and rides him out three days a week and picks the races for him, so it's pretty easy to train him. I don't think he'll run later in the week, he had a hard race there and maybe if we give him a break we might bring him back for something like the Naas November Handicap.

Angel's Amy simply divine in Listowel
We think a lot of her and she has never been out of the first two. We'll probably go for either the Knockaire or Navigation Stakes now. She is on the up, is bred by her owner Alfred Sweetnam and I think he will have at least a placed black-type filly in the making to go to stud with anyway. I was a bit worried the ground might be tacky but she handled that today and Gary (Carroll) said she had a fifth leg on it. She is a filly to look forward to afterwards.
Clockers Corner smooth off the home bend
He has improved and had a lot of misfortune on some of his earlier runs. He got messed up by a horse beside him on his first start at Naas, the same thing happened another day at Leopardstown and then he hurt himself another day. It has taken him until his last two starts to show his true colours. He didn't get the trip at Killarney and I was worried about the sticky ground here but he goes on soft and on holding so he's not a bad horse over seven furlongs, maybe six; his sire's (No Nay Never) average winning distance is 6.4 furlongs. We'll see if we can win a handicap with him and he'll probably end up going to the sales.
