Monstrosity wins easily on second start for McLoughlin
Paul said he did it well, he wouldn't want the ground any quicker than it is but I thought that myself,. He's a big lump of a horse and he'll probably go and jump a fence, depending on the ground. We'll get over that first. I was a bit anxious about the ground but in fairness to them they did a good job. The time of year it is, it's difficult. He's a solid horse. He's big and strong and keeps galloping. Onwards and upwards.
Morosini too good for odds-on Foveros
Townend doubles-up on consistent Ejayteekay
We'll see if there is something for her in Galway. She's probably gone too high to run in the mares hurdle there and we might look at the handicap hurdle on the Friday night,. There is also another handicap hurdle in Killarney so she'll go to one of those. She's after having a few runs so we'll probably give her a little break now. She's been brilliant. She was only cheap, I bought her in Newmarket for five grand and I think she's after winning the guts of 50 thousand. She's been a good old servant. She'll win on the Flat again if we go back there too and she jumps a fence so we have loads to options. She got a bit of black-type the last day in Killarney as well. The owners are breeders as well so they have a grand mare.
McNamara & Power strike with Zoffalee
I'm delighted with him. He's owned by my wife so I'm even more delighted with that,. We'll probably try and sell him after that. He probably ran into one the first day in a handicap and then he was beaten fair and square the last day. It was probably a weaker contest today. I'd have preferred it if he didn't win by nine-and-a-half lengths!. We'll see what the handicapper does to him and see where we go. He has done a good bit of schooling over fences so we might take in a chase as a four-year-old as they get good allowances.
Braddish eyes quick turnaround for surprise winner Brogine
She was game and we knew from her work at home she was going to give us a good run, even though she hadn't run in 12 months,. This is a lucky track for her. She won her bumper here and was second on her first run over hurdles here so we were very hopeful coming today. She's in at Limerick on Thursday and she'll run if she's okay because there isn't a race for her for maybe six weeks after that. We'll wait and see. She's a summer mare and she'd like the ground even a little bit better than it was today. It was good ground and she's even be better on top of the ground.
