Seamie said he's improving and we'll keep on placing him but won't over-run him,. I always thought he wanted better ground so was hoping Dundalk would suit. He's very consistent and genuine and it just took a while to get the key to him. They went fast which played into our hands. Seamie has been lucky for us and that's four or five winners this season he's ridden for me.

The horses are crying out for a bit of ground and we've been waiting and waiting,. She's a filly that showed a bit last year but trained off and lost her way. We gave her plenty of time this year. On some of her runs she was entitled to win and you're always glad to get a bracket with the fillies. The other lad ran his heart out as well.

I've loads of horses crying out for good ground and fair play to HRI for putting on this meeting,. I'd say it's much appreciated by all the trainers and we could do with a few more. We've had 4 solid months of soft and heavy ground and there are hundreds of good ground horses that have no chance. You only have to look at the number of entries and declarations to see it's needed. This horse ran on this surface before and loved it and then won up north. Conor gave him a lovely ride. It's hard to know first time in a handicap but he did it nicely. He's going the right way and is a lovely big horse.

He deserved that and I thought Ben was very good on him. He's gone clever enough and needs his mind made up,. He got stuck into him and didn't give him anyway out. He has ability but you just need to get him on his day. He even needs a drive out of the stalls. This place suits him and we'll keep him on the go over the winter. It's good to get a winner for Sean Gallagher who is a good supporter.

Ella returns to winning ways at Dundalk

She done it well. She was probably unlucky on her last run when she hit the front too soon,. Chris was confident on her and I thought she would win if things went right. The horses are running well at the moment. She wasn't getting her ground on the Turf. She's only ordinary but will win races around here and we'll keep her on the go.

Zalanga lands treble for Halford

That was a reallly good race for here and I suppose it's because people have been frustrated with the ground with horses,. She had a lovely first run here and I don't know what happened at Leopardstown - I'll die not knowing. She just got lost around there and never got it together. If she hadn't run at Leopardstown I would have been more confident today. Shane gave her a brilliant ride. She's a filly that you have to let find her own pace and take your time. He rode her with great confidence. We'll see what the handicapper does. She'll want fast ground or this surface. She's a filly I think has plenty of improvement as she's big and scopey.
