Dr Schultz proves too good for Rossvoss
He is a nice horse and he jumped great for his first time. He missed the third last as he got a bit blinded so I brought him out. He was always in control and I'm delighted with him.
Daytime scores on his last chance
We stuck him in today and this was to be his last ride as he has been disappointing. He was going to go to a field after today but I'll have to change that now. He likes quick ground and the young lad gave him a super ride.
Bahati lands a touch for the Cosgrave's
That went according to plan. We've got him well settled at home, he was hard to handle when he came to us, we've only got him three to four months. He'll probably go for a winners hurdle next. He didn't jump as well as the last day but that ground is as fast as he would have wanted it. He likes a bit of a cut.
Bottle Rattler follows up twelve months on
I'm delighted with that. I was hoping he would be successful in Sligo and I was a bit disappointed when he wasn't. We put cheekpieces on him to liven him up a bit and he travelled better today. Mark was great on him, he jumped great today, he missed the second last in Sligo the last day. That's his second time running the McManus colours and I'll speak to Frank Berry about where he will go next. He won his bumper on this card last year but hopefully it's not another twelve months before he wins again!
Deserved win for Sam as he gets off the mark
Danny said he hit a bit of a flat spot so he gave him a few pushes and he came back on the bridle. He lacks confidence but hopefully he'll progress from this. It is amazing how long it has taken him to win a race.
Lily scores for Bowe and the Irish Tenors
You Can't Catch Me lives up to his name
He is a tough little horse. We have been riding him the wrong way in behind, he needs to be ridden from the front. There could be another one in him as he didn't have a hard race there. We will go for a winners bumper in Galway but it has to be good ground. He is owned by my granddaughter Elaine.
