200 up for Elliott through Touch Me Not
Miss Gherkin certainly in spicy form
She is a really good mare. She got a great bit of confidence from her win at Leopardstown and the better ground is suiting her. She always worked like a good mare and showed promise. She ran well in a Listed bumper at Limerick after being a little bit far back. She is class and we will pick something out for her in a couple of weeks, we will see how she is at home.
Brownstone delivers for red-hot Donoghue
The ground was too deep for him the last day, he sulked a bit and pulled himself up. He is only a small horse and the deep ground was probably tough on him. We gave him a nice break after that and he was good and fresh coming here today. We thought he might need the run and he hadn't been working great at home, he was keeping plenty for himself. It's great that he went and did that on the track anyway and it's great for the syndicate. Some of the them are away and some are working, so there is only a few of them here today. He'll be kept going for the summer now. I had my first jumps winner here and I think that's 12 winners overall now - my first season with a licence. We've had four or five point-to-point winners as well. The phone is busy and I do be trying to find these syndicates horses. I'd love to be buying these store horses, but they don't have the patience for that. They prefer getting the likes of this lad handicapped and having a bit of craic. He was only bought for five or six grand.
Shinnick and Kilmurry Jj team up well
Shiroccosmagicgem a first track success for Power
She is a nice mare and started off the season great. She would have won at Tatts, but got a very bad fall and since then she has been a little bit cautious. She didn't jump great today, but seems to have plenty of ability. I knew if she was in contention turning in that she'd come up the hill the best of them. The last day in Cork she didn't carry Johnny down the back and, he said had she carried him better to the straight, that she would have been a lot closer. We put the cheekpieces on her today as she is a lazy type. Hopefully, she'll go down the staying handicap chase route next season. I've had 12 or 13 point-to-point winners and won with a nice Valirann horse on Saturday called Val Venus. He is a half-brother to Hidden Cyclone and will probably go for the point-to-point bumper at Tipperary now. I had a nice winner at Tallow earlier in the year called The Top G and I have a nice Conduit horse coming through. I'm based out of Michelle Gannon's yard in Johnstown, Co Kilkenny.
