Turban eases to victory in Cork opener
Kennoway lands a gamble for O'Connell
That's my second winner, it's been a while since the first. My horses having been running well in point-to-point's and this fellow had niggly problems but Andrew (Lynch) was happy with him after his last run. He is better going right-handed. He isn't a summer horse but I won't put him out yet going by the summer we had last year.
Kent & McAuley on the mark with Teochew
She has some nice runs and I felt she needed the extra trip. I fancied her well enough today.
Double for Ruby as Living wins well
He won his maiden hurdle in Limerick and he always showed us a bit. Just a few things went wrong but he was very good today. He is in on Wednesday at Punchestown but he is probably too far out on the weights. He revelled in that ground and he might have one more run now before I leave him out.
Pro too good for Dougal
Silver Friend fends off all challengers
I thought we would have no winner today as we had two seconds earlier (Whiskey And Rye & Steady Ed). He loved the ground and he'll be kept on the go when the ground is soft. He has had a few hiccups in the past but he is back on song now. His owners are from Millstreet, Mallow and Dublin (thePetendjodecke Syndicate).
Finnegan eases to victory in the bumper
He is a massive, fine looking horse. He ran away with his jockey at Fairyhouse last time out and he blew up as it was his first time running in a while. In his point-to-point's he stopped when he got to the front and he was looking around at everything. He has no problem when he gets to the front now.
