The Hamptons shocks in Ballinrobe opener
Michelle another result for the books at Ballinrobe
He got his jumping together and Davy was great on him, giving him a real confident ride. The ease in the ground helped and we're delighted. He might go for a novice hurdle now.
Old Theatre best in Jackpot Handicap
I fancied him quite a bit. Diamond Shower (the favourite) won at Cork and that day my lad fell when he was still going well. He was a lot better off at the weights today too.

McManus & Kiely on the mark again
That's a nice start. He was always going in that direction (chasing). He seems to have a little bit of class. He made a bit of a mistake at the ditch but otherwise he was good. We'll have another day out of him please God.
Farringdon helps brighten Dobbs' mood
Pleasure and tears at the same time. I told Andrew going out to cheer me up and he has. He rode him to perfection as if he hits the front too soon he stops. He has taken to jumping so well. He is getting more confident all the time. We'll take it step by step with him as he'll need more experience yet before he tackles the like of Punchestown fences. He has been just so consistent through his career. We are waiting on x-rays with Fiery Lord but he appears to be severely injured although the vets are not quite sure the exact nature of it. He is the most gorgeous of horses, a half-brother to Kicking King. It is hard on the owner, Jim O'Neill who waited two years with him after he got injured at Wexford. I only had him 6 months and I thought he was an exciting horse. That's racing though.
Lock Mor Lad surprises in Ballinrobe finale
Luckily everything went well for him and I have to give Eddie most of the credit for it. I was just hoping that he'd finish in the first four. He has lived rough for the last three months - he hasn't been in a stable for that length of time.
