He hasn't run since December we were waiting for the better ground although I didn't think we'd get it today but the owner Noel Murphy had two other runners so we decided to take our chance.

She's a great staying mare. We will let her off now and she'll come back over fences. We're lucky enough it rained here or we would have let her off sooner.
Treacle scores for Taaffe
That's my first winner of the new season. I'm delighted for the owner Bjorn Nielsen as he is a very good supporter of mine. My horses were sick for Fairyhouse and Punchestown. This horse was out for over a year with a leg. He ran cracker on his 1st run back at Limerick. It'll depend on the ground as to what we do next, ideally he'd want it on the good side of yielding. So if this weather continues we may give him a little break.
He'd probably like the ground a bit softer and he could go for a break if the ground gets fast.
