Malt Gem has plenty of sparkle
That was great. He's a lovely horse. He's developing all the time. Pat gave him a lovely ride. He'll be a lovely horse over fences next season. He may get his summer break now. I'm delighted for the owner James Hennessy who has been with me since day one.

Early birds snap up De Benno
I renewed my licence a year ago and this is my second winner since renewing it. I used to train years ago. I've four horses in Toomevara, Co Tipperary. There's an awful lot more pressure training than owning. De Benno is a problem horse, but he was right today and we fancied him. He's in at Navan on Saturday and hopefully he'll run there.
Nevskij negotiates safe passage
He always showed promise. In fairness to Paul O'Flynn he had the job as he trained him in his poit-to-points. Paul played football for Cork. After he ran badly in Agahbullogue he scoped wrong and the lads did brilliantly with him. Paul will have his own licence in a fortnight's time.
Moonlight Boy shows his potential
He's fairly decent. After his run at Dromahane we had to do a bit more to sell him. He'll go to Brightwells sales now. I thought he might struggle on the ground, but he's a pacey horse.
Dont Back Down certainly doesn't
Mossey Joe books Champion Hunter ticket
he wasn't as impressive as at Gowran but I'd say the horse of J.P.'s (Festive Affair) is a good horse. He'll go to Punchestown for the Champion Hunters Chase next and while he may not have looked a Champion Hunter today, better ground may bring out the best in him.
