Lee sends Punakha home in Gowran Park
I'm delighted to get her head in front. She has been running very sound races and I thought Billy (Lee) gave her a lovely ride. He followed Johnny's (Murtagh) horse and I thought it was a lovely thing to do because she led the day in Roscommon and just got chinned. She tried to pull herself up when she hit the front today, but it's grand to get it. She will be a lovely big filly for next year and she is a homebred of Eimear's (Mulhern) so I'm delighted. I was afraid to ring Eimear today because I thought she might tell me to pull her out because of the ground. I think that'll be it for the year with her.

Lust a second winner on card for Keane
He had the class in the race. Going into the race we would have been very confident over seven furlongs. He loves that ground and it's a nice track to get a trip. He got an easy lead and Colin used his head to get a couple of lengths at the start. We were always going to get the trip doing that. He did it well. We had a nice winner for Newtown Anner yesterday (Thunder Kiss) and again today so long may it last. It's a nice way to end the season with him. He is a brother to Maker Of Kings so he will be a nice horse to look forward to next year as well.

Astrophysicist covers all angles for Brouder
I started off too big with 15 horses so I cut back to just him and two others. We were waiting on the heavy ground, that's his ground. He is after having a nice few runs now so we will give him a break after this and head on for next year. I'm actually off to New York on Sunday for five weeks and when I come back, we will start going again. I'm going over to a friend of mine, JP McAllen. I'll be riding on the Flat over there for a change of scenery. I have one more horse left to run and then they will all be on a break until next year. I'm training out of Tommy Carmody's old yard on the Curragh.
Sweet November obliges a month early
I'm delighted for the lads (Discreet Syndicate) who are from the north Co Dublin area. She had shown glimmers of form and ran well the last day. She obviously liked that ground. I'm delighted to get the win and I don't know what we will do with her now. I don't know if she will handle Dundalk, so she might come back next spring for that sort of ground again.
