Hussey keeps it simple on Bogini
I'm very pleased. She was entitled to win a race. I put the blinkers on her to make her concentrate. When I saw the draw we decided to make use of it and make the running. Michael gave her a top class ride. He gave her a breather at the right time. The owner, Michael O'Callaghan is from Kerry. He's a young man investing in racing, which is good to see. He has horses with myself and Paul Deegan.

Mount Meru excels in 1st time blinkers
Keagan is a top-class jockey. If you take out his last run (on soft ground at Roscommon) he'd nearly have been favourite tonight. He needed the blinkers to make a man of him and he'll be going to Dundalk next.
Oliver is Just On Fire
His form suggested that he deserved that. He had a good run at Cork from an outside draw last time and Ben gave him a good ride. He strode away from the field well there and he enjoys his racing and I think there's a bit of improvement in him.
Northgate bosses 'em in Plate
The key to this horse is the ground (he must have a sound surface). His objective now is the Group 3 Diamond Stakes at Dundalk (twice a winner there). He just could make a lovely hurdler too and he has schooled brilliantly at home.
Hughes goes down memory lane after Sun Disc win
It's nice to win a flat race for John. I'd say the last flat winner we had together was Dellersbeck (1981) in the Lincoln ridden by Wally Swinburn. We'll see what mark this filly gets over hurdles and what she goes up for winning tonight. A winners of one hurdle might be difficult enough for her. Mark claims 7 and that'd be useful if we go on the flat again.
Bookmakers go home happy after Golan's win
That was no bother to him trip wise (2m 2f). He's been very consistent and won his maiden hurdle here. I'll mix it with him over hurdles and on the flat. Things didn't work out for him last time (10th at Wexford under Johnny Murtagh) but we expected a good showing tonight.
