Boy follows-up on recent course & distance win

That was great. As I said the last day we've always thought he was a very speedy horse,. Once they go fast for him he'll come home well and he got a good ride there. We knew the pace was on the inside and if we went forward enough on him he'd grind it out and that's what he did. There was a good pot tonight and it's nice to get. I have to say a big thank you to all the local lads around my area for helping us during the snow. We were in big trouble as the roads and everything were blocked. All the neighbours came up and gave us a hand to clear off the gallop and stuff. Luckily enough we were able to keep them going. I was worried but John (Duffy) has a big farm up beside us and we were able to get a bit of cantering into them. I thought he might be a bit short but he was alright as he keeps himself very fit.

Odds-on Rivellino gets the job done

He was the classiest horse in the race and had run very good solid races here in handicap company,. His last couple of runs were rock solid and he was entitled to win it. He's there to be claimed. He's a good rock solid horse, and I wouldn't want to lose him as he's won three times for me, but if he is he is and that's why we put him in it. He was a classy horse in his day but he's slipped down the ratings a bit. He was a better horse than most of them there.

Her stamina came in to it late on. She's now qualified for the all-weather championships and it's not too often you get one for that so I'd say she'll probably go there,. I'll speak to her owners but it's a rare opportunity to run for that money. I've already got one going over as well (Captain Joy). She's been terribly consistently and sometimes those those fillies, once they get a bit of confidence, can keep going forward. Seven is not her ideal trip but conditions were there so we decided to send her up.

Ormsby back in business at Dundalk

He got a stone bruise after his last run last November and we just couldn't get it right,. That's the only reason he's been off so long. He's just a genuine little horse and loves this surface here. Gary said they went good and hard up front and it was perfect for him as he just travels within himself and stays on. He thought seven was as short as he wants. I think there is a race over seven here again next week. If he pulls out fine we'll come back.

Sharjah now a 14th time winner

He gave him a great ride after getting left at the start,. I think he was about fifth last coming past first time but he didn't panic and it just worked out. He gave him a super ride. He's a much improved rider in two months. He only weighs 6-12 in colours but he's after maturing from riding here and he's getting better the whole time. He was unlucky here two weeks ago when he was beaten a short-head on one and I was hoping it didn't go the wrong way. He had his first winner on him and that's his second one now. That's 14 races now. He's consistent out and always runs his races.

First win for Condron as McGuinness doubles-up

Ado has done nothing but help me the whole way. I took a bit of the break and was in the army for a while. I started off with Ado when I was only a kid and went back there. He took me back and he's always believed in me. I'm just grateful for the ride. I thought he'd win a couple of weeks ago over a mile-and-a-half as he was working super. He maybe just needed a trip and stayed at it well tonight. It's Nathan's first ride for me. I didn't want too much pressure on him but he gave him a great ride and I was delighted for him. Nathan has just started with me. It's a great start for him and he's a good kid to ride so hopefully there will be a future for him. It's great for Dan Daly (owner). We were nearly going to finish with the horse but he's working well at home.
