Damselfly gets off the mark
Attention brings Focus on Lynam & Downey
It's the first horse that three lads (Peter Fagan, Niall O'Rourke & Jack Wallis) that work in London have with me. She's a well-bred filly. She has a good attitude and it was nice to win a race and she might win another one hopefully. She saw it out well, she's learning as she goes along. There are not many of these races left and these are horses that have had little issues along the way. This filly is a big filly and took a bit of time. It's a nice track, I haven't been here in a while. When the chances are there you have to take them.

Magic Sea springs 20/1 surprise
He's a lovely horse but he's just been slow for the penny to drop. I didn't think he would handle that ground at all, he's such a good mover. He has a big long stride and I just told Danny (Sheehy) that we had an awful draw and even if he had to stay wide to keep riding and keep him rolling and just use his length of stride. I think he coped with it all today. He's definitely one for Dundalk. He's very, very big - he's about 16.1. I've been waiting for him to sort of fall apart after every run and put him away because he is so tall but he actually thrives on his work so we'll keep him going now.
Silver takes Gold at Down Royal
She is having some campaign, she is just as game as hell. I put her in half thinking if we were thrown out we would be balloted for a more suitable race. When the ground came soft I said seven (furlongs) is far enough for her and Oisin (Orr) said she handled it so that is something new. When things go right she's good. She probably needs space, that's why we put the cheek-pieces on. After she won her two races she would have damned near won her next race in Killarney as she ran into a wall of horses. She's a half-sister to Silverkode so suddenly she has got a bit of value. At the beginning of the season we thought we had a low-grade mare related to nothing. I think Silverkode is rated 99 and runs in a big race tomorrow so suddenly she's very exciting. She's tough and if you have a tough horse you don't know where you can go. Oisin is riding just great, he rode it just beautifully. He just didn't get flustered, he waited and took his time and he got space - he got space in a 14-runner race and drawn wide when he didn't give away the ground. It was a typical ride of a fella just full of confidence.
35/1 double for Orr as Rachael wins again
She's tough, she's very tough. She's better on better ground, she's a good-actioned filly. It's loose, lucky enough we got through it. It's not winter ground so fortunately enough it went well. Oisin is a very good rider. He's great value for 5lbs although he didn't claim it today. A great chap and he is a big-race jockey of the future.
Nelson just prevails in the Ulster Cesarewitch
He's a very, very tough horse as you can see. He's a big, tall boy. He has improved and improved, he had a very good run the last day. We thought he would go very close today. He'll come on again from that. He found more at the end, he's very tough. Down the line I'd say he could be a very decent hurdler for someone. He'd stay going all day and he's very genuine which is important on that ground. I'd say he'll need a couple of weeks break before the next day and we'll look at what is coming up for him but he has plenty of options now because he will go up a little bit in the handicap. Thank God that makes the trip home a bit shorter - it's five hours!
