I think he knew where the horse gate was as he had his ears pricked and had plenty left in the tank. Joseph O'Brien's horse (Tower Rock) stopped dead five furlongs out and left me in front. When I gave him a smack on his left hand side he veered but he kept going.

She always runs better fresh and she's been covered by Kodiac. She'll be scanned next week and hopefully she's in foal. She could go to Limerick next Saturday for a fillies handicap, we'll see how she comes out of this but that's a nice pot.

Well-bred Bridge gets off the mark

We bought him at Newmarket last year and he was to go juvenile hurdling in the winter but he had some problems. He's a big immature horse, owned by Dan Daly who had Cockney Lad. He'll go hurdling before the year is out and we're just getting to know him.

Demolition job by Handazan

It's hard to know what to make of the form given the ground but he handled it well. We knew he'd handle an ease but he's a great mover and we didn't know if he'd go on that. He's improved on the track and in his home work. He's a big raw frame and he was always the type to improve in the summer. We'll take it one step at a time and we'll see what the handicapper does now.
