O'Grady's Flambe burns off rivals
he'll make a nice chaser and I think it's one of Darsi's first winners as a stallion.
Revolutionary plot succeeds at Tramore
I rode him in Limerick but he didn't go on the ground and I told Maureen to keep him for good ground as he was going a bit sour otherwsie. It was a bad race today and the ground helped him.
Thundering shows his Steel
I should have rode him! (he returned to the saddle at Clonmel last week).
John The Soldier finally gets his day
I have him since Christmas and I'm delighted the owner (John O'Donohue) gave me the chance to train him. He's a lovely little horse and will be campaigned for the summer now. The ground was perfect for him as it wasn't too quick and Ian gave him a lovely spin; we'll look for another handicap hurdle now but today's win gets me off the frozen list!
Fourth winner in fortnight for Swan
he promised a lot when he won his bumper but hasn't run on good ground too much and I'd say he appreciated it today. Charlie fancied him well and I imagine he'll want to go for a winners' of one chase next.
Mangan super-subs for injured O'Neill
that was a bit of a shock . he had form from a while ago but I'd say he has just gone slow and I'd say he might need that trip. The blinkers seemed to have set him alight too.
Welcome win for Manning as Gael wins the last
She absolutely loves good ground and she got a great ride from Andrew. I told him to keep her up there at all costs and that's what he did. I think there is another race in her if she gets her ground.
