Light impresses in Curragh opener
I ran her over seven in Gowran the first day and it taught her a lot. She was a little bit slow to learn at home, and it's been a while since we've ran as the ground was firm that day and we just took our time. She's done a bit of growing since and strengthened up. The bit of experience has stood to her well. We bought her at the breeze up sale in Goresbridge (for E56,000) and we've always really liked her at home. I thought in her first few bits of work that she was a Stakes filly, and then she started to grow. In the last few weeks she's come back to herself. Leigh has given her a lovely ride and kept it simple. We have the option of going back up to seven, and if we could find a conditions race next that would be lovely.
Moyglare next up for classy Trethias
We've always thought a lot of her and gave her all the time she needed. She's in the Moyglare and that's where she will go now. She had a lovely run the first day, and we let the race bring her along as she's a little bit hot - a typical Invincible Spirit.
Well-bred Luceita scores on debut
She was held up with fairly minor issues and hopefully they are all behind her now. She was going away at the finish with her ears pricked and was doing nothing. We'll see how she comes out of this, and I'd say she could go anything up to a mile and a quarter. She could possibly stay in training next year.

Hamilton takes the Amateur Derby on Rockabill
He's been a slow learner and he's toughed it out. We liked him early on and then he had us scratching our heads. He's started to progress like a typical Fastnet Rock, and that was even a huge step up from his last run. We think he'll stay a bit further, and he's a nice colt.
