Laureate leaves rivals in her trail in Dundalk opener
Gary got off her and said she is so professional. She's been working like that and is a very good workhorse at home. She's very ground dependent so we waited for this. A couple of her previous runs were on good ground but that's even slow for her. Gary knows her well and said she can't have it quick enough. She goes for the Mercury Stakes next. If she gets a good draw and everything is in her favour she has a good chance of getting black-type, which is imperative for her.
Frenetic bounces back to claim Legacy Stakes
She's very fast and is probably the fastest two-year-old over five that's ran in the country so far. You can wipe out the last day when she had to travel over to Doncaster. There was wind in her face and it was a horrible day. She was buzzy with William (Buick) and he said she did too much early doors but today she nice and relaxed. I said to Colin beforehand that she was nice and quiet today and that's the way to have her and we'll be able to ride her today. To do that from 15, to get over, was a tough ask. There is still a bit of improvement in her as she was green in the last 150 yards, wandering about. She's in the Mercury but Ger will peak to Ed Sackville, racing manager for the owners, to see if we will stop now and train her for next year. We were delighted with that and she's done nothing wrong all year. There were excuses for a couple of her runs and when she got beat in Naas she was beaten by a proper horse of Ken Condon's (Miss Amulet).

Lyons team in the Zone with Dundalk treble
It was fantastic for the horse and he got a great ride from Sam, he's a smart kid,. We wanted him to go forward. He thought there was going to be a lot of pace with it being an apprentice race but he was very positive on him and was able to go his own pace in front and dictate. That's a fine art in itself but for a kid it's even better. Turning into the straight he went down the inner and made a bee-line for the winning post and that was the winning of it as they all had to come around him. This lad is in the October Sales and that's where he'll probably go now. He's got a lot of ability. We're having a lot of luck up here at the moment. We stayed away from the track for a while due to the going. They've resurfaced it and we're reaping the rewards now. It needed to be done and fair play to them they did it. We'll support it now.

604/1 4-timer for the Lyons team at Dundalk
He's a bonny little horse, genuine as anything,. A mile-and-a-half plus is his trip and we've just proven tonight that he loves that track and handles it really well so we'll come back here for more of the same. Colin said he likes to take his time and warm into it. When he finished second in Leopardstown it looked as if he was unlucky but that's probably the way he has to be ridden. Hopefully we can pick up another one or two before he's sent on his way.
