No scares for 1/9 fav Hollow Games
It's great to get a winner, it's a place I like starting off a few horses. He's a nice, horse, he's a big galloper. He only does what he has to do. Davy (Russell) said he is not doing a stroke the whole way around. When he jumped the second last, he gave him a squeeze and he picked up. Yes, he has (a nice way of jumping), he is very quick. He is a chaser, that's what he has been bought to be.
Impervious on an upward curve
Sure she answered all the answers today anyway. She jumps, she travels and I'm delighted with the way she went by the line. It is just phenomenal what she has improved from the last day. Hopefully she will keep improving. When you have a filly like that and they keep improving you don't know where you could stop. We'll keep dreaming away. She is on the go a long time and we will have a chat with Paul (McKeon). The beauty of it is that we don't much in between with her. We'll see what is there. I'd imagine (the mares' novices' hurdle at Cheltenham) it would be the long-term. Whether we get to there, I'm not sure but I'd imagine maybe Christmas and a run after it and we'll see. She is relatively inexperienced for what she is doing. She is one to look forward to. We never had a doubt about the ground, we thought she would be better on softer ground. She is clearly just a good filly.
Zanahiyr back to winning ways
Jack (Kennedy) said he was trying to wind it up the whole way, he actually wasn't doing a stroke and had his ears pricked. From the second last to the line he galloped the whole way. We are very happy. He's entered in the Hatton's Grace (at Fairyhouse) but we'll have to have a look and see what we think. I could see him stepping up (in trip) at some stage in the season.
Outside The Door wins again for Roche & Kelly
Lifetime Ambition takes to fences in Down Royal
He got his act together at the end of last year and he is a horse that is only filling his frame. From we jumped him over fences in the autumn, he was just different league. Sean (O'Keeffe) said he has never ridden a horse to have so much scope as he does. He could be exciting. He have a few jumpers and a few quality ones but he is exciting. When we got him he was a little bit sick when he was running in his bumpers and he just took about six months to get right. He's right now. He was in Pat Doyle's for the summer grass - the owners are friends of Pat Doyle. He has come back a different horse this year and we are very happy with him. The entries for the Drinmore are on Wednesday so he will probably get an entry. I wouldn't be afraid of stepping him up in class. He's very good. We'll stick to 2m 4f at the moment but the way he gallops there would be no harm in three miles either. I'd say this year we might stick to 2m 4f.
Espion De Chenet & Treacy a winning team
He jumped brilliant today. He just loves running and being on the track. He tries his heart out and turns up every day, today was class. We are thinking of going to Aintree for the next meeting (next month), this week we just had a mad thought. My parents live nearby (to Aintree) and it would be lovely to go and have a runner. I used to hunt all around there. Ryan (Treacy) will ride him in Aintree. We could claim off him but he knows him inside out and gets on so well with him.
Elliott completes short-priced treble in bumper
He's a horse for next year really,.
