Regal Das Mooser delivers King's master plan
She travels really well. Mark said she's the kind of mare who just wants to get on with it. It was probably a big ask for her coming here and making the running but she was very good. After she won her point-to-point she had a few little problems that we ironed out and we’ve had this as the plan for a while. She’s brilliant to jump. She unseated on her first point start but she was just too brave. Johnny King would have ridden her but he’s out injured and it was his idea to make it. He deserves plenty of the credit.
Plan comes together for Harrington and Power
When I rode him in Leopardstown I said to Mrs Cooper (owner) that he'd win this race and thankfully it's worked out. He loves this better ground and he had his wind tweaked after Christmas and it's made a difference too. He's seen it out real well — on heavy ground he doesn't quite get home. He was the one I really fancied all week. He probably doesn't get home over two and a half (miles) on soft ground but he does on that ground. He just made one mistake at the fourth last but other than that he was foot perfect.
Elliott mare gains important success
If I can go into tomorrow anywhere near him (Willie Mullins) at all I've a lot of guns to fire then,. She won the race last year and we said we would come back for it. I'd say she didn't stay in the Ulster National, and we trained her for here then. The owner is very patient and Jack gave her a great ride.
Brave a special victor for Mullins' in Champion
I think what happened is called getting run away with in style,.
Magic double puts Mullins back in driving seat
It didn't quite go to plan. The plan was to follow Ruby but he just jumped a bit high and to his left and lost his position but all credit to the horse to be able to come from where he did.
Busy Balnaslow gets Champion reward
He's a tough bugger. He's unbelievable. He ran in Loughanmore in his younger days, and they are bred to be Spartans out of there. To go to Cheltenham and Aintree and run massive races and come back here, he deserved it.
535/1 Mullins treble with Montalbano
He's a horse that promised a lot early on, and he needs good ground. That's the key to him.
Canardier lands gamble with debut win
We bought him a year ago and liked him a lot. He's always showed plenty of boot, and is pure class. He's been away to a few schooling races.
