Queen beats Adelana in Dundalk match
I'm absolutely delighted with that. I think she'll come on from it. It was a two horse race and it was a bit of cat and mouse, but it was a good ride from Joseph. They are two top class jockeys so I wouldn't expecting anything less. She has strengthened up from last season and has grown half a hand. I will possibly bring her back on Guineas day for a fillies Listed race.
Buddy does it again at Dundalk
He is definitely a Dundalk horse, that's for sure. He was unlucky the last day when he reared up in the stalls, I would have had my house on him that day. We wanted him loaded as late as possible today. I told Daniel that if this horse was on his game it would feel like he was on a Group One horse turning in. The seven pound claim made a lot of difference and he did everything right today.
Gamble goes astray as Trinity scores on debut
That was grand, he is a nice horse and it is a pity there is no Racing Post bonus! . I could have run him last year but you can see with the size of him that it was better to wait.
Emperor lands gamble by a nose
Belisarius makes all in easy win
There were no excuses today. He didn't have to do more than run up to his mark. He has been running consistently but he has run into a few good horses. He has always worked like a nice horse at home.
Treble for O'Brien as Egyptian delivers
He is a lovely big horse, but he has been a bit disappointing in a couple of bumpers. We put the blinkers on him but he probably doesn't need them anymore as he knuckled down well. I think he will make a decent hurdler on decent ground.
