War Room gains maiden win at 16th attempt
I only have the horse a short while, and he was only beaten a length here last time which put him right there with a chance. We rode him to stay a mile tonight and it proved just perfect. He's probably better fresh and I only half train him. He'll definitely win another one up here. I'm delighted for the owner (Eugene Kavanagh) who is a good friend and a very good owner.

he (Captain Joy) loves it up here and never seems to run a bad race - he travels exceptionally well here. The plan coming here was this was going to be his last race (this year). I don't think there is a whole lot more for him & we'll probably put him away for a break now.
Nursery won by €900 bargain buy
she's not bad for a filly that only cost €900! .She might go to Nottingham for a nursery on Wednesday week, and hopefully we can get two days out of her.
Course specialist causes 20/1 upset
as soon as he got off the box he knew he was here - he loves the place! . It was a fair run to win off 87 and he got into a bit of trouble and did well to come through and win. Shalaman (stablemate) has also run a cracker to finish third.

he won a maiden for us here a few years ago and was unlucky last year when he had a few bad runs on grass and developed a sore shoulder. I was hopeful coming here tonight. I've three in training at the moment, and we breed a few as well.
