Splaine delivers Cnoc with perfectly timed run
afterwards: .Gillian. David gave him a smashing ride. The only way to ride him is to come late and fast. His jumping is so good. He has only got good to firm ground three times and he has won all three. If he comes up in the ratings he will run in the Galway Hurdle.
Moscow gets off the mark over hurdles
He was entitled to win off his last run and he handled the ground ok. He wouldn't want it much quicker than that. Good ground is his ground. He will go straight over fences now and he'll have least one more run this summer. He is a half-brother to Trafford Lad.
Samantha scores on first start for Winters
I only have her a fortnight. The Cotters done a great job with her, they had her when she won her point-to-point. The credit will go to me but the Cotters have done all the work with her. She won her point-to-point very impressively and I was lucky to get her. She's not over big, she loved the ground and we will race her away now over the summer. Eileen and Peter Cotter own her and they are from Newtown in Cork.
Craic springs surprise in Cork bumper
He is a nice horse but he had a lot of trouble as a youngster and he only came right in the last few weeks. He didn't get in at Roscommon on Monday but I was just as happy because he likes quick ground. He'll go for a winners bumper now and he will be kept on the go. He'll go hurdling soon. His owner is John Connery from Villierstown in Co Wateford.
