We thought she got to the front too soon the last day even though she won, so we said we'd produce her later today. She is very, very genuine and I thought a genuine horse would win this race. I was touch and go about whether or not to run her. I said she wasn't running on Wednesday night, but I took a chance and thank God the rain came when it did.

I was told by Sarah and Joseph that we were riding him wrong. He was travelling well in his races but he was getting there just a bit too early, so Joseph said that he would be better held up, and Sarah agreed.

Mr & Mrs Quinn (part owners) drove five hours from Tyrone to get here and they won't even stay over. This will make the journey home a bit shorter. If they hadn't travelled I wouldn't have run him as I thought the ground had gone for him. I told Fran to keep him wide and if others dropped back that he would get a bit of encouragement and he did.
