She's a nice filly but has just taken a bit of time to come to hand. She is still very green, and will improve plenty for her first run. The trip (1m3f) is not an issue, and she could step up another furlong. She has a very good attitude.

Improving Lion makes it two in-a-row

He is an improving horse. I was a bit worried about the track coming from Galway as it is totally different but he has definitely sharpened up a lot.

Dempsey opens account over hurdles

He always travels like the best horse but normally spits it out at the second last. He had a wind operation around the first week in June, and it would be a fair assumption that it has been a help. He'll go for another handicap.

Burke steers Changer to deserved win

This horse has so much ability. He has so much speed I think he could win over a mile on the flat and the flatter track here probably suits him. He got left a bit at the start at Galway and I didn't intend for him to be that far back. He will keep going while the ground is good and Johnny gave him a great ride.

Wexford provides Burke with first double

I'm thrilled with that. She is a bit of a funny mare. I thought when she ran at Gowran last year that she could be alright but she has been a bit disappointing since. She worked so badly the other morning I couldn't believe it so we put a tongue tie on her and it's worked. She has a lovely pedigree and she will make a lovely broodmare in time. She could do well over fences if that's the way the owners want to go.
