Broderick wins opener at Gowran
Loughran Beneath The Radar
That was grand, it looked to be a very good maiden hurdle. He ran some good races last season and this was his first run back, he won't do an awful lot over hurdles we'll chasing with him shortly.
It's nice to win three in a row, he has had his problems in the past, you could say he has come back from the dead. He has gone up 16 pounds for his last two wins. Mark [Bolger] gave him a lovely a ride, he is a very good jockey.
Lennon wins feature at Gowran Park
That was great, I always knew he was good horse. It certainly makes the day a bit better. That is my biggest win to date, I have about 16 horses in training at the minute and this lad I suppose is the flag bearer. He's a brilliant jumper and if he could improve from that it would be great. I will stick him into the Grand National and see what he gets.
Mullins back in winners enclosure
That was great, he's just a better horse on better ground. I'm amazed he's been beaten so many times as he shows so much ability at home. He beat Venalmar in his novice hurdle. We will probably bring him to Fairyhouse and Punchestown and I must have a chat with Davy [Russell] to see would the Galway Plate be suited to him.
Codd seen to good effect
That looked a tough race out there today. This lad was a good second behind Eugene O'Sullivan's Juveigneur at Kildorrery Point to Point, so the form was there really. We will probably bring him to Fairyhouse and Punchestown for the Hunters Chase.
He won his maiden as a 5 year old and he's had his problems in the past but he's always being promising and he'll go chasing next.
