Big market move proves spot on for Whispering Royal
He's a very straightforward horse at home, he's a beautiful horse and he really points his toe well on that surface. The owner was pushing to go to Naas and I said to hold off and go to here as he wants better ground. He really pointed his toe here well. He was just green out of the stalls, he was very good at home but was just green today. Then he was green wide and just picked up and lengthened on all the time. I'd say there is improvement to come. His work is good at home; he was working with three-year-olds and he's only a two-year-old - they were good three-year-olds. He had been showing well against them. I won with a nice horse here, Dandy Warhol, and he is the same league as him. I'd love to keep everything, but there is a price for everything and we try and keep things rolling.
Another maiden and another well-backed newcomer scores
She's a smart filly and we always thought something about her. She has a lovely temperament and she saves it all for the track, she is very laid-back at home.
Jaafel squeezes through to gain elusive win
Kearney picks up winning spare on Kudbegood
Jack stepped into a good ride there. The horse just seemed to grow a leg up here and showed a good turn of foot. We were worried about him during the summer, we couldn't get a tune out of him. We said we would just wait for Dundalk and see would it rejuvenate him. We'll give him a little bit of a campaign (in Dundalk) now, we'll see how it goes. He's on the go a good while. He got a little bit of a break after the last day so we'll see how long we keep him going. He slipped down a bit and he is at a level he can compete with.
Marsa adds further lustre to her polytrack record
I thought the draw was a killer, but he's a very good rider. Chris Hayes usually rides her, but he is saving himself (getting married tomorrow). Shane was very good on her as I left it to him because of the draw. She travelled very well and seems to grow a leg here. There's a race over seven furlongs here just before Christmas, but we'll see.
Keane earns the plaudits on Company Keeping
That (ride) was brilliant! It wasn't kind of according to plan, but what a jockey. He (Colin Keane) took his beating with the draw and he went out the back.
Cromwell continues on a roll with Je T'ai Porte
She relaxed and I suppose getting to make the running she switched off.
Browne McMonagle doubles up on Golden Sandbanks
We just said after the last day over fences that he hated the ground. He finished second but he just didn't like the ground. We just said we would give him one spin up here as the new owners don't have him that long. We said we would see how he would go on it. I think the surface is riding a bit slower now, he didn't quite enjoy it last year. I think he is a different horse mentally now and enjoying life a bit more. I kind of had him down as more of a National Hunt horse - I didn't expect him to do that. I expected him to do that before now but maybe he has just changed all round. He wasn't meant to (have a spell in Dundalk for the winter) but I'm sure there will be one more, I'm a bit greedy! He'll be mainly for Killarney's and stuff next year going chasing, we would love to win a nice chase with him next year.
