Murtagh seen to good effect
The horse deserved to win he has being running consistently well. He has put on a bit of weight this season and we hope to win a premier handicap with next season. I'm delighted for the lads they are a local syndicate.
Lyons and Murtagh record double
He's in the horses in training sale at Newmarket next week so we'll see how we get on. Johnny [Murtagh] said to me he has improved plenty and how far would he have won over 6f! He's a good honest horse and Johnny felt that if we held on to him that there would be plenty of races for him at Dubai.
