Well-bred colt wins Dundalk's opener
Parkside Boy is tailor-made for a flat, quick five-furlongs. He has done it nicely, it has teed up lovely for him. He came into us from pre-training and we wasted no time as we knew he was going to be early and this was going to be his time to do something. Without having a win in mind, we wanted a good performance and we are going to look at the Lily Agnes Stakes in Chester (in May).
First win for Senor Carrots
he's a horse we have persisted with and he had a few issues early on in his career but they all came good last year. He rattled off a couple of quick runs at the end of last year which were slightly disappointing and below what we expected. We brought him back and he obviously wants good ground. He slid into that company, we were rated 66 and we dropped a pound for a run at the Curragh. He had a nice draw and Billy rode him well, so things worked out. He is a relatively unexposed horse and we worked him against our other good sprinter, The Highway Rat, and he leads him so we knew there was ability. However good lead horses aren't necessarily good racehorses but everything worked out.
Autocrat registers second Dundalk win
the horses are running well and Autocrat is a very nice horse and is capable of winning a good handicap somewhere. He has already schooled over hurdles but is still a colt and there's been a bit of interest in him, so he could be sold.
In-form Emeric follows up on the Polytrack
He kept him up to his work, he's a bit funny in front.
Guineas entrant wins Dundalk maiden at 16/1
Better days ahead for Clounmacon
Storm Eric gives hands-full Flynn a first win
it was a good buzz — the race was in the balance with a furlong to go and there is no better feeling. He is my only horse and I bred him myself. I just do this for the enjoyment of it. I'm training beside the beach in Donabate so I do a lot of work there. He has knocked on the door a couple of times and the drop back in trip and the tongue-tie seemed to work.
Narrow win for Blue Wood
