He likes it around here, the undulating track suits him, and I’m delighted for Pat (O’Leary, owner) as he puts a lot of money into it. If the weather stays dry we’ll probably get away with running him until the end of October. This is his time of the year. He loves Tramore as well and is entered there in another chase next week. We’ll see how he is in the morning and make a decision during the week.

Jerry gets job done at second attempt

It was a nice performance. It’s been a frustrating time lately and it’s nice to get that winner on the board. He could be a nice enough horse and there should be plenty of fun with him next season going over hurdles. I don’t think he’s a horse for the middle of the winter, so we’ll see how long the ground lasts. He has a good attitude and it’s great that he found and galloped the whole way to the line.
