Blazer grinds out opening race win
.On the conditions of the race he was entitled to win but he made hard work of it and he'll have to improve. We'll keep him to novice events for the time being,.

.He needs a big galloping track, three miles and top of the ground. He's a great fun horse,. The Galway Plate is a possibility but Ruby said he wouldn't have the speed to get to the first fence quick enough. There is the Summer Plate at Market Rasen or we might have to think about Cheltenham in October. It's hard to find something suitable for him.

Roost rewards support on handicap debut
He wanted better ground and he saves a bit for himself so we said we'd try cheek-pieces. This grade is much more his cup of tea,. It's great for (owner) Derek Kierans as he's a great supporter.

Kivu makes impressive start for Mullins
That was a good performance first time up. The trip was no problem and he can go the staying summer novice hurdle route,. He's for a new client, John Turner from London. That's a good start and hopefully he'll continue to be lucky.

Meade on mark again with Blues
She's a grand little mare but I'd say that's as quick as she'd want it,. I told Paul (Hunt, owner) earlier that he had two good jumpers running today but the other horse (Major Destination) didn't jump well at all. She wants a bit further but the good gallop was a help and Sean is riding great. I don't see any reason why she won't continue over the summer.

Warrier looks good in bumper stroll
He's nearly 17.1 hands high but he can gallop. It was great that he travelled on that ground, and Derek was very happy with him,. He's had some small niggly problems but a horse like that is worth waiting for. I wouldn't like to run him on too quick a ground but he handled that well. I brought him to the sales last year but thought I was not getting enough for him.
