On the paddock bend, Well Above Par (IRE), which was subsequently pulled up, hung in left which caused Mannochmore (GB), which later fell, to be checked, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Relkadam (FR), which was pulled up, had lost its right-fore shoe.
Craig Nichol reported that First Account (GB), which was pulled up, weakened quickly after the 5th last fence; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of First Account (GB), failed to reveal any abnormalities.
