The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at around a furlong and a half from the finish involving Royal Pippen, ridden by E.J. McNamara, placed second, and Gegenpressing (GB), ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fifth, where it appeared both horses came together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. E.J. McNamara said he originally got carried slightly right before angling out to the left for his run and felt the two horses just got tangled up in each other a bit. C.D. Hayes stated his horse was going backwards when receiving very slight interference but it did not effect his run. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Golden Warrior, trained by T.J. O'Mara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Run The Jewels, trained by Michael McCullagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls
