The record of vaccinations in the passport of Leroy Brown (GB) did not comply with the Rules of Racing.
Nigel Twiston-Davies was fined £280 as this was his second offence within the previous 12 months.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Auntie Neila (GB), trained by Paul George, appeared to be suffering from ringworm and the trainer did not have a Certificate of Non-Contagiousness.
George was fined £140 and skin scrapings from the horse were sent to the Animal Health Trust.
An enquiry was held into the fall of Jonjo O’Neill Jr, the rider of CARYS’ COMMODITY, inside the final furlong.
The rider was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, his explanation that his mount jinked sharply right-handed towards the parade ring exit whilst racing greenly, which caused him to become badly unbalanced and unseat was noted.
It was found that no other horse or rider was involved.
