Permission was given for Star Of Deauville to wear a red hood in the preliminaries which was removed at the start.
An enquiry was held to consider interference leaving the back straight when Jigs Princess (GB), placed second, ridden by Ben Robinson, interfered with Mid Day Rush (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Jamie Gormley.
Robinson was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to edge in on the bend when insufficiently clear, causing Gormley to check off heels.
Inside the final furlong, the winner Annie Rose (GB), shifted sharply left before being quickly corrected, moving Jigs Princess (GB), placed second, slightly off its intended line.
However, after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Annie Rose (GB).
