< Self Preservation has a bright future ahead of her judging by her victory in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden at Tipperary.
David Wachman's filly had finished a couple of places behind Perfect Godess when fourth on her Navan debut, and tracked that rival when she took up the running a furlong and a half from the finish here.
An impressive turn of foot swept her past her opponent soon after and she needed only to be kept up to her work by Wayne Lordan to register a five-length success as the 15/8 favourite.
The Visit Tipperary Racecourse Handicap took place over the same five-furlong trip and Jamesie finished fastest of all to claim the spoils.
Dropping back in distance after a good second at Chester's May meeting, the 9/2 chance shot through a gap between Big Bad Lily and Yellow Dandy in the final furlong and beat the latter by a neck.
The successful combination of David Marnane and Colm O'Donoghue followed up through Aragorn Icon (5/1) in the jogforjockeys.ie Handicap.
Having made headway against the rail shortly after entering the straight, a split opened nicely before the furlong marker and he took full advantage, racing away to account for Elusive Moon by two lengths.< Adiynara supplemented a Ballinrobe victory by coming out on top in the 2011 Pride Of Tipperary Launch Race.
Mick Halford's 5/1 shot looked up against it when driven to keep tabs on the front-running Noble Call approaching the turn for home, but she eventually responded to Johnny Murtagh's urgings and ultimately prevailed by two and a half lengths, a shade comfortably.
John Oxx threw two arrows at the Tipperary Racecourse Maiden and it was the lesser-fancied Saddler's Rock (12/1) who prevailed.
His stable companion Red Calima appeared the most likely winner halfway down the straight, but Ben Curtis brought Saddler's Rock with a well-timed challenge to take the prize.
