< Ainama landed a battling victory in a thrilling finish to thetote.com Connacht National Handicap Chase at Roscommon in the colours of JP McManus.
The Niall Madden-trained eight-year-old, ridden by 'Slippers' Madden, travelled sweetly into the straight, but there were still plenty in with a chance as they chased Our Victoria in the extended three-mile contest.

The Dessie Hughes-trained Our Conor (13-2) collared long-time leader Consonance in the shadow of the post to take the Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C & G) Maiden by a neck under Gary Carroll.
