Shark Hanlon 's prolific bumper winner Clondaw Warrior shrugged off a lengthy absence to strike at the first time of asking over hurdles at Limerick.

The pair were virtually inseparable two out, and though the 11-4 favourite got the better of the battle at the last under Andrew McNamara, Spot Fine battled back to go down by just a neck.
John Clifford's Kilcross (25-1) Boy finished fast under Paddy Kennedy to land the first division of the Kelloggs Cul Camps Handicap Hurdle, while the second division went the way of 5-2 favourite See Double You under an exultant Ronan McNally.< Island Peak (5-1) ended a frustrating run of near-misses when landing the Provimi Handicap Chase under Brian Cawley.
