< Success Days swept to a convincing victory in the Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial Stakes at Leopardstown to stay on course for a Classic challenge.

The absence of Order Of St George took some of the lustre from the race, but Ken Condon's charge could hardly have been more impressive as he followed up his shock Ballysax Stakes victory in some style.

Shane Foley again led the way on the grey (8-13 favourite), who kicked three lengths clear at the top of the straight and soon had his rivals toiling before coasting in 10 lengths ahead of Summaya The Epsom and Curragh Derbys are now under consideration.< Kissed By Angels gave Aidan O'Brien another string to his Classic bow as she romped away with the Derrinstown Stud 1,000 Guineas Trial on only her second start.

The choicely bred daughter of Galileo (13-2) moved up menacingly on the turn towards the straight under Seamie Heffernan and after hitting the front she quickly put the race to bed, running on strongly to beat Devonshire by three and a half lengths.

O'Brien and Heffernan doubled up when 7-1 chance Bondi Beach took the Irish Catholic Newspaper Maiden under a sympathetic ride, edging the odds-on favourite, stablemate Bantry Bay in the shadow of the post to win by a short head.

Tommy Stack's Irish Lincolnshire winner Onenightidreamed (15-8 favourite) stepped up to Group Three level for the Ard Glen Amethyst Stakes and landed a gritty success, grabbing Fire Ship close home and holding Sruthan by a nose under Wayne Lordan.

There was a second victory for Shane Foley when Sean Byrne's top-weight Lean And Keen (5-1) displayed plenty of guts to take the John R Fitzpatrick Agricultural Contractor Handicap by half a length from strong-finishing favourite Beau Satchel

Pat Fahy's Ballybacka Queen (25-1) has been tried in exalted company without success but she got back in the groove when dropped down to the Fitzpatrick Gallagher McEvoy Solicitors Handicap, winning by two lengths under Donnacha O'Brien.
