< Solo Performer landed his fifth victory on the Dundalk all-weather track as he swooped late under Andrew Lynch to take the Follow Dundalk On Facebook Race.
Held up in last place, the Harry Rogers-trained seven-year-old stayed out of trouble as leading fancy Flavia Tatiana lost all chance when she was boxed in coming down the straight.< King's Trail and Mark Johnston's raider Oceanway made the best of their way home, but Solo Performer (8-1) flew down the outside and grabbed the prize by a length.
Flavia Tatiana's rider Joseph O'Brien enjoyed better luck as he produced a stirring finish from Honourable Emperor to take the Fundraising Made Easy At Dundalk Maiden.
It looked as if the front-running Atticus Finch had stolen the contest, but Honourable Emperor (7-1) got into top gear in the final furlong and Noel Meade's three-year-old charged home for a short-head victory.
Sam James landed a double begun when Eddie Lynam's Iron Major (12-1) took the www.dundalkstadium.com Handicap.
The jockey had nowhere to go when stablemate Akasaka hit the front, but he managed to ease out and Iron Major displayed a sharp turn of foot to shoot past and beat Joe Eile by a length.
James made it a brace when the Ado McGuinness-trained Blue Cross Boy (10-1) ended a drought lasting over four years in the second division of the Dundalk Stadium Handicap, winning by a length and a quarter.
The first division went to Shisha Threesixty (3-1), who got off the mark and ended Ger Lyons' barren spell at the same time with a convincing success by a length and a quarter under Johnny Murtagh.
Winless in over two years, Mick Halford's Lord Kenmare has dropped down the ratings and was supported into 7-2 favourite for the Irish Stablestaff Association Awards March 3rd 2012 Handicap. He came down the outside under Conor Hoban to win comfortably.
Hoban doubled up when Charlie Swan's Tribes And Banner (11-4) halted Mutasareb s winning streak by a head in the Winter Racing At Dundalk Handicap.
