Aidan O'Brien secured a fantastic Group One treble at the Curragh, culminating in Order Of St George s brilliant victory in the Palmerstown House Estate Irish St. Leger.

Joseph O'Brien was happy to hold the 5-4 favourite up in rear early on, but he scythed through the field on the home turn and obliterated his rivals in the straight, winning by 11 lengths from Agent Murphy < Air Force Blue looked a colt out of the top drawer when easily landing the Goffs Vincent O'Brien National Stakes.

Joseph O'Brien looked very comfortable on the 10-11 favourite as he cruised into the lead, and only had to be kept up to his work to beat Herald The Dawn by three lengths.

O'Brien saddled the first three home in the Moyglare Stud Stakes, but it was Minding (15-2) who got the verdict ahead of favourite Ballydoyle

Joseph O'Brien was happy to lead on Ballydoyle, but could never shrug off the attentions of Minding, who drew upsides a furlong out before running on well to score by three-quarters of a length under Seamie Heffernan, with stablemate Alice Springs third.

James Fanshawe's Ribbons (3-1) swept through the field to land the Moyglare 'Jewels' Blandford Stakes under Tom Queally, fending off Tapestry by half a length.

Edward Lynam's Sole Power managed to give weight and a beating to his rivals in the Derrinstown Stud Flying Five Stakes, quickening nicely at the furlong pole under Chris Hayes before fending off Maarek by a head.

Richard Fahey's George Bowen (8-1 co-favourite) overcame a seemingly poor draw to run away with the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Bold Lad Sprint Handicap under Jamie Spencer.< Glass House (12-1) finished with a flourish under Gary Carroll to land the Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes for trainer Ger Lyons, while the Irish Stallion Farms EBF 'Northfields' Handicap went to the David Wachman-trained Torcedor (12-1) under Wayne Lordan.
