Joanna Morgan's Whispering Wind justified odds-on favouritism (8/13) in the Ballybride Mares Maiden Hurdle at Roscommon today, but did give her supporters more than a fright in winning.

Whispering Wind, by Sunshine Street, was improving to challenge when blundering at the penultimate hurdle, but soon recovered to take the lead away from the final flight, eventually recording a length win over Diamond Key

Morgan was unable to attend the meeting.
