Rachael Blackmore recorded her fifth win of the week, as she guided Whatsinthecorner to victory in the Roadstud Installations Beginners Chase.
Trained by John 'Shark' Hanlon (second winner in as many days), the son of Windsor Knot was sent off a 7/1 chance.
Settled in mid-division, he soon improved to chase the leaders, and was fifth with a circuit to race.
He improved to challenge on the outer from three out, and had a good battle with Ri An Rian from there, with just a length and a half separating them at the line.
The runner-up was sent off a well-backed 3/1 favourite (from 11/2 on-course), with Sean Flanagan aboard this five-year-old for Liz Doyle.
The front two went twenty-three lengths clear of Gunfire Reef (12s to 6s on-course) who was third under Danny Mullins for his mother Mags.
Hanlon said afterwards: "He's a good-ground horse, ground is the key factor to him. I'm delighted to get that out of the way now because I was beginning to wonder would he ever win a race.
"His hurdle form was okay but it was up and down. I'd say it was a very moderate race but listen a bad race is a hard win!
"Two starts back (when fifth in Fairyhouse) was a good run.
"The owner TJ McDonald is a farmer from Naas. He had another horse with me and he got hurt and we bought this one as a replacement."
