Urhavingalaugh continued the excellent run of Niall 'Boots' Madden and his son Niall 'Slippers' as he came from the clouds to win the Leo McMorrow Memorial Handicap Hurdle.
The JP McManus owned gelding was sent off the well backed 5/4 favourite from his opening show on course of 3/1 but his supporters must have had little hope of collecting at the second last as the son of Croco Rouge appeared well beaten.
At the last his was only fifth but he kept on strongly inside the final furlong to get up close home and win by a length from the Mark McNiff trained Whisky Galore in second at 5/1 with the Oliver Brady trained Khan Tengri a further half a length back in third also at 5/1.
The 5yo grey gelding was having his seventh career start this evening. He finished a decent third last time out at Cork behind Clara More and Frankie Flowers on what was his second start in handicap company.
Niall 'Boots' Madden said afterwards: "He ran a great race the last day at Cork.
"Niall said he never travelled on the track today and didn’t like the ground.
"The ground is very tacky and he is a good actioned horse."
Niall 'Boots' has now won with his last three runners, starting off with Clancy Strand at Naas on Monday and followed by Highdownhill at Roscommon on Tuesday.
Niall 'Slippers' has been aboard all three winners.
