Dermot Weld recorded his third winner in the last three days, as he Turnabout ran out an easy winner of the Dan Cowman Memorial Maiden.

Fourth and seventh on his first two starts, the son of Oasis Dream was available at 11/8 last night, opening on-course at 5/6 before going off the clear 4/6 market leader.

Settled behind the leaders in third, the bay victor improved to lead five furlongs from home. He was pushed along from the two furlong pole and soon stretched clear, going on register a seven length success.

The easy to back newcomer All India (from 6s to 9s on-course) finished second under Michael Hussey for Joseph O'Brien, while King Jeremy (12s to 8s) was a neck back in third for Gary Halpin and Johnny Feane.

Leigh Roche was aboard the winner, and he said afterwards: "I would be very disappointed coming here today if he didn't win.

"He had a good run in Galway and the Weld horses are back in form. I picked it up at the top of the hill, he done it very easy and had plenty left in the tank.

"He had the visor on him in Galway to travel that bit easier, but he is a genuine horse, he tries hard and just didn't need it today."
