Tune The Chello under Robbie Power, justified 5/4 favouritism when winning the Kelly Farm Modernisation Ltd Mares Maiden Hurdle at Killarney today, scoring a 10th winner since the resumption of racing for trainer Henry De Bromhead.

The daughter of Ask was placed on both her latest maiden hurdle starts last January and today reappeared when making all to eventually beat off the challenge of Mystery Stowaway by two and three parts of a length.

De Bromhead wasn't present and afterwards Gold Cup winner Power reported “she is real honest and genuine and stays really well but isn't slow either.

“I rode her on her first hurdles run and I didn't think she was that slow but she stays well. We went a nice even gallop and she quickened up well in the straight.

“She handles soft ground so every bit of rain helped and she has plenty options now.”
