The Guinness (Q.R) Handicap Hurdle was won by John 'Shark' Hanlon with Truckers Delight for owner Michael Mee ridden by champion amateur Patrick Mullins.

Truckers Delight, travelled well throughout and was pushed clear of the rest after the last and won by a comfortable 8 lengths.

Trainer John 'Shark' Hanlon said afterwards, 'We only have him about 6 or 7 weeks he came from John Jo O'Neills we had him as a point pointer orginally. He ran here Monday night and I was amazed at how well he ran as I thought he may have been short of work. He'll run again tomorrow he's a hardy horse.'

Trainer John Hanlon has his Training licence out since May of last year and has clocked up 22 winners.
