The Play In Pink Handicap Chase went to Discordantly (14/1) who led before the second-last where long-time leader Beyond The Law was a faller.

That left the Salutino gelding well clear and he kept up the gallop to run out a thirteen length winner from the 7/2 favourite Chavi Artist in second.

Always quite well regarded by winning trainer Jessica Harrington, this was a second win over fences for the 6-year-old who won his beginners’ chase at Gowran in March.

It was a seventh winner of the campaign for Paddy Kennedy, who said of the winner: “He jumped well and he was in his comfort zone the whole way.

“He loves that heavy ground and the Troytown (Navan November 8th) is the plan now I’d imagine.”
