Champion jockey Ruby Walsh heads to Tramore for just one ride this evening, teaming up with Muthaza for his boss Willie Mullins in the Sponsor A Race At Tramore Mares Maiden Hurdle.
This four-year-old daughter of Muhtathir makes her debut for Mullins here having won three races on the level in her native France.
She is also having her first start over hurdles, while it is interesting to note that she is a full-sister to 2008 County Hurdle winner Silver Jaro. Whizzzey Rascal was a decent third on her debut over flights at Downpatrick recently and she looks a danger, while Genesta and the Colin Bowe newcomer Little King Rocket are others to consider.
Liz Doyle trains Whizzzey Rascal and her Mozilla might be able to claim the concluding Dunhill (Ladies Pro/Am) Flat Race.
She has not been seen since January of 2015, but she does have two decent efforts to her name, while it is worth noting that she is a half-sister to a French Grade One winner.
Katie Walsh has been booked to ride newcomer The Rap Queen and she is sure to have plenty of supporters, while others of note are fellow debutant Lovetotalk and the Gordon Elliott-trained Tajseer
Elliott saddles Shan Dun Na Ngall in the Book At tramore-racecourse.com Handicap Hurdle and he looks to have solid claims in what is a competitive contest.
Davy Russell is an interesting jockey booking on Walkers Point and he is sure to have plenty of supporters, while Kalanisi King and Most Honourable are also likely to feature prominent in the betting.
Russell rides Walkers Point for David O'Brien, and they also team-up with Double Windsor in the www.tramore-racecourse.com Maiden Hurdle.
This son of Windsor Knot has already been placed three times over flights, and another solid performance can be expected from him now, as he is fitted with cheekpieces for the first time. Glasslyn Road won over the course on his last start in April, and he looks the one to side with in the August Racing Festival 11th-14th Handicap Chase, while the consistent Stay With It might be able to take the opening Tramore Racecourse Supporters Club Beginners Chase.
The Tramore Golf Club Handicap Hurdle is a moderate affair and Cadawill appears the safest option here after he finished second over the course and distance on his most recent start.
