Legatissimo's half-sister Smoulder got off the mark at the third time of asking to bring up a Ballydoyle double at Dundalk in the Fundraising Made Easy At Dundalk Stadium Fillies Maiden.
Aidan O'Brien had earlier seen Declarationofpeace win the opener under Seamie Heffernan and here he jocked up his daughter Ana on the successful daughter of brilliant Australian sire Redoute's Choice.
Smoulder, the 7/4 favourite, broke well and she tracked the leaders.
She was noted travelling well in the straight before the leading apprentice asked her to go and win her race from over a furlong out.
Smoulder then kept on well inside the last to hold the slow starting Artistic Melody by a length and three parts.
"I'm delighted with her. She came forward nicely from Limerick," said the winning trainer.
"We'll look for a stakes race for her now. Ana was delighted with her. She travelled well and quickened well.
"I left her in in France but it's probably not fair to her. We'll see how she is but it probably wouldn't be fair."
